Karachi Violence claimed 109 lives this month so far

More than 109 people killed in Karachi is last eighteen days and the death toll rises to above 1000 in 2012. Among them 52 are the policemen. The list also includes traders, factory owners & other businessmen with their family members.


There is a sudden rise in violence observed in July and it looks like the law enforcement agencies are unable to protect at least the neutral citizens which includes businessmen, and other non political citizens.


Citizens of Karachi are helpless with just a hope of things getting better

Abraham Lincoln once quoted that if one wants to check someones character, give him the power. Today the statistics clearly shows how genius Abraham Lincoln was. These politicians are so rich that they run for Presidency by spending a lot of money on Election Campaign, infact I must say “INVESTING” on election Campaign because for them, it is just a business to govern a country and get the return of their “Investment” by using their “Powers”. The obvious examples can be seen as elections campaign in India and ofcourse Pakistan, where almost all the politicians are feuds and are at least the millionaires in Dollars either it is PPP, PML-N or PML-Q. Besides, this is sad that the statistics shows that mostly the poorest countries have the richest politicians. Pakistan won over Argentina by 2-0

Pakistan won the hockey match against Argentina by 2-0, bringing in the hope that Pakistan may be win in this Olympic 2012 Both Argentina and Pakistan were awarded 4 penalty corners each, of which Pakistan was able to score two goals from it. From Pakistan, M. Imran was the first goal scorer through a penalty corner in the first half of the match. In the second half, Captain Sohail Abbas scored another goal again through a penalty corner letting the Pakistan to win the match by 2-0. Pakistan is now atleast two wins away to get into the semi final. Lets hope that this team brings us a joy on our face and win in this tournament. Best of Luck Pakistan.
