BNV Finals: Poem on Syria

In 1971 Assad rule changed Syrias democracy into a dictatorship for 41 years Over 80000 people have been murdered, More than 20000 imprisoned, kidnapped or missing. This poem is for  those who had net yet fallen. *End of chant* Limbs of what was once my family lie in my arms. My throat was stolen, my blood screams, 7 generations tortured! Karachi Violence claimed 109 lives this month so far

More than 109 people killed in Karachi is last eighteen days and the death toll rises to above 1000 in 2012. Among them 52 are the policemen. The list also includes traders, factory owners & other businessmen with their family members. There is a sudden rise in violence observed in July and it looks like the law enforcement agencies are unable to protect at least the neutral citizens which includes businessmen, and other non political citizens. Citizens of Karachi are helpless with just a hope of things getting better
