Recent report by USAID (United Stated Agency for International Development) says that Pakistan has the potential of producing approximately 150,000MW of wind energy with just the investment of around two billion dollars. According to USAID official it is estimated, that Pakistan has the potential to generate 143,000MW through solar and wind energy. Investing to Wind Power Plants and Solar Panels will not just reduce electricity shortages but also will ease the burden of importing oil.  Research says that the fair category of wind speed in most parts of the world is between 6.2m/s and 6.9m/s. However, the wind speed in the Sindh corridor is stronger and stands in the category of 7.5m/s and 7.7m/s.  The goverment of Sindh has a plan to develop 2500MW of energy with this by 2015. Hindustan Times reported that Anna Hazare has accepted the invitation to visit Pakistan by the Pakistani delegation. However Anna said: "Once I recover from the weakness and complete India yatra, I am going to visit Pakistan." The Pakistani delegation is expecting that Anna's visit could make a change in Pakistan's corrupted environment by motivating people to stand against Corruption, as Anna's Fight for Corruption influenced many people around the world. In the current environment of Pakistan, where many Pakistanis has lost their hopes, Anna's visit to Pakistan could bring some hope to them. However, future will tell us the affect of Anna's visit.
